On our Times Square Treasure Trek, you’ll behold enormous screens with larger-than-life advertisements, wade through throngs of tourists and costumed characters to unearth the hidden history of New York’s most famous square! From extinct Broadway theaters to current ones, from new small businesses to the biggest brands in existence, it’s the perfect destination for your team building adventure!
Times Square, so named when the New York Times moved to the area in 1904, is more than just a tourist destination. It’s the site of the New Year’s Eve Ball Drop, home to many flagship stores, and the center of the Broadway Theatre District. Gather your teams and get ready to explore!
We begin in front of the NASDAQ Marketsite on 43rd St. and Broadway. In a race against time and the other teams…
- Visit popular foodie destinations like the Hard Rock Cafe, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., Junior’s, the newly opened Raising Cane’s and Jollibee (so many chicken choices!)
- Stop by the legendary U.S. Armed Forces Recruiting Station and inspect some seals – but don’t enlist, you’re already on a mission!
- Admire the architecture and peek inside some of Broadway’s most iconic theaters, like the Lyceum and Gershwin.
- Visit the famous Red Steps and TKTS Booth and see what discount tickets are on sale today.
- Inspect a very interesting geothermal heating and cooling system that uses the energy from NYC’s subway system!
- Venture into some major brands’ flagship stores, such as M&M’s, Hershey’s, and Krispy Kreme to name a few!
- Learn about Father Duffy, the most highly-decorated cleric in the history of the U.S. Army and visit his iconic statue in the center of it all!
- Pay homage at the sculpture of George M. Cohan, a musical theatre legend largely responsible for the creation of Broadway theatre!
